Fintech Shield Warranty & Product Policy – Warranty & Product Information
This Warranty & Product Policy explains how product warranties, defects, product-specific conditions, and warranty-related requests are handled for products purchased through the Fintech Shield online store. Because our products are fulfilled by third-party suppliers through Modalyst, warranty coverage, duration, eligibility, and applicable conditions may vary by product, manufacturer, and supplier.

Fintech Shield aims to provide customers with clear information regarding product quality, warranties, defects, and after-sales support. This Warranty & Product Policy explains how warranty coverage and product-related claims are handled for physical products purchased through the Fintech Shield online store.

Fintech Shield operates its physical-product store using Modalyst's dropshipping platform. Products are supplied and fulfilled by independent third-party suppliers, and warranty coverage may therefore vary depending on the product, manufacturer, supplier, country of sale, and applicable law.

Fintech Shield does not provide a universal warranty period for every product sold through its store. Where a manufacturer or supplier provides a commercial warranty, the applicable product-specific warranty terms will determine the scope and duration of that commercial warranty, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any consumer right, legal guarantee, statutory remedy, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Our Warranty Approach
Products sold through Fintech Shield may be covered by one or more of the following:

-
A manufacturer's commercial warranty;
-
A supplier's commercial warranty;
-
A product-specific warranty or guarantee stated in the applicable product information;
-
A statutory consumer guarantee or legal remedy applicable in the customer's jurisdiction; or
-
A combination of the above.
The availability, duration, scope, and conditions of a commercial warranty may differ between products. Unless a specific warranty is expressly stated on the relevant product page or provided with the product, Fintech Shield does not represent that a separate manufacturer or commercial warranty is included with every product.

A manufacturer's or supplier's commercial warranty is separate from mandatory consumer rights. For example, EU consumer legal guarantees apply independently of any voluntary commercial warranty.

Manufacturer & Supplier Warranties
Where a manufacturer or supplier provides a commercial warranty, Fintech Shield may assist customers with submitting a warranty-related claim.

The applicable warranty may specify:

-
Warranty duration;
-
Covered defects;
-
Required proof of purchase;
-
Required troubleshooting;
-
Repair or replacement procedures;
-
Warranty claim deadlines;
-
Return requirements;
-
Geographic limitations;
-
Excluded damage;
-
Shipping responsibilities; and
-
Other applicable conditions.
Where a product is covered by a manufacturer or supplier warranty, the specific warranty terms applicable to that product will govern the commercial warranty claim, subject to mandatory legal rights.

Customers should retain their order confirmation, invoice, product documentation, serial number, and other relevant information that may be required to establish a warranty claim.

Warranty Period
There is no single warranty period applicable to every product sold through Fintech Shield.

The applicable commercial warranty period, where one exists, may depend on:

-
Manufacturer;
-
Supplier;
-
Product;
-
Product category;
-
Destination country;
-
Date of purchase;
-
Date of delivery; and
-
Specific warranty terms.
Where a specific commercial warranty period is advertised on a product page, in product documentation, or in other applicable purchase information, that information will be relevant to the commercial warranty.
Customers should not assume that all Fintech Shield products carry a 6-month, 12-month, 24-month, or other universal commercial warranty.

Statutory Consumer Guarantees
Commercial warranties and manufacturer warranties are separate from any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to a purchase.

Fintech Shield does not provide a universal commercial warranty for every product sold through our store. Warranty availability, duration and coverage may vary depending on the product, manufacturer, supplier, destination country and applicable product-specific terms.

Where applicable law provides consumers with mandatory rights or remedies concerning faulty, defective, damaged, or non-conforming products, those rights will apply independently of any voluntary manufacturer or supplier warranty.

For customers in the European Union and other jurisdictions where statutory consumer guarantees apply, Fintech Shield will handle qualifying product-related claims in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

EU consumer rules generally provide a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods that are faulty or do not conform to the contract. This is a legal guarantee rather than a universal manufacturer warranty, and it applies independently of any voluntary commercial warranty.

The precise rights, remedies, procedures and applicable periods may vary according to the customer's country and the circumstances of the purchase. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any mandatory consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

What May Be Covered
Depending on the applicable warranty or legal requirements, a qualifying claim may concern:

-
Manufacturing defects;
-
Material defects;
-
Product malfunction;
-
Product failure during an applicable commercial warranty period;
-
Products that do not conform to their description;
-
Incorrect product supplied;
-
Material quality problems; or
-
Other qualifying defects covered by the applicable warranty or consumer law.
Whether a particular issue qualifies for a warranty remedy will depend on the product, the nature of the issue, the applicable warranty, the circumstances of the claim, and applicable law.

Defective Products
If a product appears defective or does not function as reasonably expected, customers should contact Fintech Shield as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

-
Order number;
-
Product name;
-
Description of the problem;
-
Photographs where relevant;
-
Video demonstrating the problem where useful;
-
Serial number or model number where applicable; and
-
Any other information reasonably requested to evaluate the claim.
Fintech Shield may review the claim and, where appropriate, work with the relevant supplier or manufacturer.
For some products, we may request reasonable troubleshooting before authorizing a return.

For example, an electronic product may require basic checks involving:

-
Power;
-
Charging;
-
Cables;
-
Connections;
-
Compatibility;
-
Configuration;
-
Software;
-
Firmware; or
-
Other normal operating conditions.
Reasonable troubleshooting does not, by itself, eliminate a customer's statutory rights.

Warranty & Product-Related Claims
If you believe that a product purchased through Fintech Shield is defective, damaged, does not conform to its description, or may be covered by a manufacturer or supplier warranty, please contact Fintech Shield through our Contact Us page.

Please provide your order number and a description of the issue. Where useful, we may also request photographs, video, product information, serial numbers, or other reasonable evidence to help identify the issue. After receiving your request, Fintech Shield may review the information and, where necessary, communicate with the relevant Modalyst supplier or other applicable fulfillment partner to determine the available resolution.
Depending on the product, supplier arrangements, applicable warranty terms, and applicable law, the resolution may include:

-
A return;
-
Replacement;
-
Repair;
-
Refund;
-
Troubleshooting or additional product information; or
-
Another remedy available under the applicable circumstances.
Where a physical return is required, Fintech Shield will provide the customer with the applicable return instructions and return address after the claim has been reviewed.
Because products are fulfilled by third-party suppliers through Modalyst, the return address, inspection process, shipping arrangements, and available commercial warranty remedy may vary between products and suppliers.

Customers should not send a product directly to a supplier, manufacturer, Modalyst, or Fintech Shield address unless they have received appropriate instructions to do so, except where applicable law provides otherwise. Fintech Shield does not guarantee that every product will be repairable, replaceable, or covered by a separate commercial warranty. Where mandatory consumer rights apply, however, the applicable legal remedies will not be excluded by this policy.

Information Required for a Warranty Claim
To help us investigate a warranty or product-quality issue, we may request:

-
Order number;
-
Purchase date;
-
Delivery date;
-
Product name;
-
Product model;
-
Serial number or identification number;
-
Description of the problem;
-
Photographs;
-
Video;
-
Proof of purchase;
-
Product packaging;
-
Manufacturer documentation; or
-
Other reasonably relevant information.
We will generally request only information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

Replacement, Repair or Refund
Depending on the applicable product warranty, supplier arrangement, manufacturer policy, and applicable law, an accepted claim may result in:

-
Repair;
-
Replacement;
-
Refund;
-
Partial refund or price reduction where legally appropriate; or
-
Another appropriate remedy.
A replacement is subject to product availability. If the same product is unavailable, Fintech Shield may discuss an alternative remedy with the customer, subject to applicable law.

For EU consumers, mandatory legal remedies may include repair or replacement and, in appropriate circumstances, a price reduction or refund.

Relationship With Our Refund & Return Policy
Warranty claims and ordinary returns are related but are not necessarily the same thing. Our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy governs the general return, refund, replacement, and cancellation procedures applicable to store purchases.

For ordinary eligible returns, including change-of-mind returns, please refer to:

Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

The current Modalyst supplier framework generally provides a 14-day return period for eligible products, while damaged or defective-product claims are handled under applicable supplier arrangements.

A product that is defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise fails to conform to applicable requirements may be eligible for a remedy even where the ordinary change-of-mind return period has expired, where required by the applicable warranty or consumer law.

Damaged Products
Products damaged during shipping should generally be reported in accordance with our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.

Customers should provide:

-
Order number;
-
Description of the damage;
-
Photographs of the product;
-
Photographs of the packaging; and
-
Video where reasonably necessary.
Modalyst's current supplier requirements distinguish ordinary returns from damaged or defective products and require suppliers to provide a return/refund policy for qualifying damaged or defective items.

For the standard reporting procedure and applicable timeframes, please refer to our: Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that materially differs from the product or variant you ordered, please contact Fintech Shield promptly.

Examples include:

-
Wrong product;
-
Wrong model;
-
Wrong color;
-
Wrong size;
-
Wrong variant; or
-
Materially incorrect product supplied by the fulfillment partner.
Where the problem is attributable to supplier or fulfillment error, Fintech Shield will work with the applicable supplier to seek an appropriate resolution. This may include replacement or refund, subject to the applicable supplier arrangement and applicable law.

Modalyst's current supplier guidance states that where an item is damaged, incorrect, or has a quality problem, the supplier is responsible for the applicable return shipping arrangement.

Products Without a Commercial Warranty
Not every product sold through Fintech Shield will necessarily have a separate manufacturer or supplier commercial warranty. Where no commercial warranty is expressly provided, this does not mean that customers automatically waive mandatory statutory consumer rights.

Any mandatory consumer guarantee or legal remedy applicable to the transaction remains unaffected.

Warranty Exclusions
To the extent permitted by applicable law and the specific warranty terms, commercial warranties may not cover problems resulting from:

-
Accidental damage;
-
Misuse;
-
Abuse;
-
Negligence;
-
Improper installation;
-
Improper operation;
-
Failure to follow manufacturer instructions;
-
Unauthorized repairs;
-
Unauthorized modifications;
-
Physical alteration;
-
Exposure to inappropriate environmental conditions;
-
Liquid damage where the product is not designed for such exposure;
-
Normal wear and tear;
-
Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality;
-
Consumable components that naturally wear out;
-
Damage caused by incompatible accessories or equipment;
-
Damage caused by external electrical conditions;
-
Damage occurring after delivery through customer use; or
-
Other exclusions expressly stated in the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty.
These exclusions apply to commercial warranty coverage only to the extent permitted by law and do not override mandatory statutory consumer rights.

Accidental Damage & Misuse
Commercial warranty coverage generally does not cover accidental damage or damage caused by misuse unless the applicable warranty expressly provides such coverage.

Examples may include:

-
Drops;
-
Cracks;
-
Liquid damage;
-
Burns;
-
Physical impact;
-
Improper installation;
-
Incorrect voltage or power supply;
-
Unauthorized modifications;
-
Tampering;
-
Improper cleaning; or
-
Use contrary to manufacturer instructions.
Where the customer disputes whether an issue resulted from misuse or a manufacturing defect, Fintech Shield may request reasonable evidence or arrange an evaluation by the relevant supplier or manufacturer.

Unauthorized Modifications & Repairs
Products should not be modified, disassembled, repaired, or altered by unauthorized persons where doing so may affect the applicable commercial warranty.

Unauthorized modification may result in denial of a manufacturer's or supplier's commercial warranty claim where the modification caused or contributed to the problem. This provision does not limit mandatory statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Software, Firmware & Compatibility
Certain electronic products may depend on:

-
Operating systems;
-
Firmware;
-
Drivers;
-
Applications;
-
Third-party software;
-
Network services;
-
Device compatibility; or
-
Manufacturer support.
A product's inability to work with a particular third-party device, software version, operating system, network, service, or configuration does not automatically establish a manufacturing defect. Customers should review the product specifications and compatibility information before purchase.

Where a product is advertised as compatible with a particular system or standard and fails to meet that stated specification, the matter may be reviewed as a product-quality or conformity issue.

Product Specifications & Changes
Product specifications may change when manufacturers or suppliers update their products. Depending on the product, this may include changes to:

-
Packaging;
-
Color or appearance;
-
Dimensions;
-
Accessories;
-
Firmware;
-
Software version;
-
Branding;
-
Manufacturer packaging;
-
Minor design elements; or
-
Other non-material specifications.
Fintech Shield will aim to maintain accurate product information, but certain supplier-provided information may change without advance notice. A change that materially affects the product's advertised function, specifications, compatibility, or characteristics may be handled as a product issue, subject to applicable law.

Third-Party Brands, Manufacturers & Suppliers
Fintech Shield is an independent online retailer using third-party dropshipping suppliers through Modalyst. Unless expressly stated otherwise:

-
Fintech Shield is not the manufacturer of the products sold through the store.
-
Manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
-
Product warranties may be provided by manufacturers or suppliers.
-
Fintech Shield may need to communicate with the relevant supplier or manufacturer to process a warranty claim.
The involvement of a third-party supplier does not eliminate mandatory consumer rights that apply to the transaction.

Product Availability
-
Warranty replacement depends on the availability of the relevant product.
-
A supplier may discontinue, replace, or modify a product after an order has been placed.
-
If an identical replacement is unavailable, Fintech Shield may offer another legally appropriate remedy, such as a refund, repair, replacement with an equivalent product, or another solution where permitted and appropriate.
-
For EU consumers, mandatory remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Warranty Shipping & Return Costs
Where a warranty or product-quality claim requires a physical return, the applicable shipping arrangement may depend on:

-
The supplier;
-
Manufacturer warranty;
-
Reason for the claim;
-
Destination;
-
Product;
-
Applicable buyer-protection program; and
-
Applicable law.
Where the supplier is responsible for a qualifying damaged, defective, incorrect, or quality-related return under the applicable supplier arrangement, Fintech Shield will work with the supplier regarding the appropriate return-shipping arrangement. Modalyst's current guidance places responsibility for return shipping on suppliers in specified cases such as damaged, wrong, or quality-problem items.

Customers should not incur or arrange significant return costs without first contacting Fintech Shield and receiving instructions, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

International Warranty Claims
Warranty and product claims involving international orders may require coordination between:

-
Fintech Shield;
-
Modalyst;
-
The supplier;
-
The manufacturer;
-
The shipping carrier; and
-
The customer.
The location of the supplier or manufacturer may differ from the customer's country. This may affect the practical method used to evaluate, repair, replace, or return a product.
Fintech Shield will make reasonable efforts to facilitate an appropriate resolution while preserving applicable consumer rights.

Customs, Duties & Warranty Returns
For international warranty or replacement shipments, customs duties, taxes, import requirements, or carrier charges may potentially arise. The treatment of such charges may depend on the destination country, supplier, carrier, and applicable law.

Customers should follow the return and shipping instructions provided by Fintech Shield rather than independently shipping a warranty product to a supplier or manufacturer.

Product Recalls & Safety Notices
If Fintech Shield becomes aware of a product recall, safety notice, or other significant product-safety issue affecting a product sold through our store, we may take appropriate action, which may include:

-
Suspending sales;
-
Removing the product listing;
-
Contacting affected customers where appropriate;
-
Coordinating with the supplier or manufacturer;
-
Providing recall or safety instructions; or
-
Offering an applicable remedy.
Customers should follow official manufacturer, supplier, carrier, or regulatory instructions where a safety recall or other product-safety issue is announced.

Fraudulent or Abusive Warranty Claims
Fintech Shield may investigate warranty claims for indications of:

-
Fraud;
-
False information;
-
Altered or manipulated evidence;
-
Deliberate damage;
-
Product substitution;
-
Unauthorized modification;
-
Repeated abusive claims; or
-
Other misuse of the warranty process.
Where a claim is determined to be fraudulent or abusive, Fintech Shield may decline the applicable commercial warranty claim, take appropriate account or order action, or pursue other remedies available under applicable law. This does not affect legitimate statutory consumer rights.

Product Documentation
Where manufacturer documentation, warranty cards, manuals, safety instructions, or other product documentation is supplied with a product, customers should retain those materials where reasonably possible.

Some manufacturers may require documentation, serial numbers, proof of purchase, or other information to process a commercial warranty claim.
Fintech Shield may request such information where reasonably necessary.

No Universal Manufacturer Warranty
Because Fintech Shield sells products supplied by multiple third-party suppliers and manufacturers, Fintech Shield does not represent that every product has a manufacturer warranty, that every warranty has the same duration, or that every warranty provides the same remedies.

Where a specific commercial warranty is offered, its applicable terms should be reviewed before relying on that warranty.
Where no commercial warranty is offered, applicable statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Statutory Consumer Rights Take Precedence
Nothing in this policy is intended to:

-
Exclude mandatory consumer guarantees;
-
Waive statutory rights;
-
Limit legally required remedies;
-
Restrict a consumer's legal right to repair, replacement, refund, price reduction, or other remedy;
-
Misrepresent the availability of legal guarantees; or
-
Prevent a consumer from exercising rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For example, EU law provides consumers with a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods, independent of any voluntary commercial warranty. Applicable rights may vary according to the customer's country and the nature of the transaction.
